The project consists of interior renovations of United Airlines spaces containing Training, Technical Operations, Locker Rooms and Flight Operations areas.  Additionally, a storage area that required demo of an existing fence and re-installation of a new chain link fence.  The phasing and coordination for the project was complicated by the fact that four of the five phases required asbestos abatement which was performed by GOAA.  Three of the four phases required new casework.  Additional scope of work included new metal framing, drywall, painting, HVAC, electrical and communications infrastructure.  Phase 4 of the project housed United’s Flight Operations function at OIA.  The contract required that this phase of the project be completed within 9 days of the Flight Operations function vacating the area. This and all work was completed on time!
