ABOUT THE PROJECT
The OCPS DB N/W Bus Depot project consists of the upgrade of the NW Bus Depot facility. CSA and sub-consultants performed the Civil, Architectural, Structural, and MEP design of the upgrade which expanded the number of bus parking spaces from 65 to 82. Incorporated into the design will be a 15,000 gallon fuel station system, fuel dispensers and piping systems, containment boxes, monitoring systems, fuel islands, concrete driving surface, concrete curbs, concrete sidewalks, asphalt paving, storm water facilities, water distribution system, electrical light pole relocation, landscape/irrigation relocation, electrical sub panel and administration facility. The fuel station system will be design to incorporate a system that can accommodate the fueling of four buses simultaneously.
The design covered the new fueling facility, the proposed buildings, and the expansion and improvements to the bus parking with the necessary lighting for both the parking and perimeter areas, following the requirements of lighting levels for the security and safety systems. Also, power was provided to the proposed security and communication systems, as well as the HVAC and plumbing systems. Once design has been completed, R L Burns Inc. prepared the GMP and manage the construction process.
