The Chambers Park Community Center Project was a $826,000 renovation and upgrade to the existing Chambers Park in Kissimmee. The project consisted of a single-story addition to the existing Community Center including a multi-purpose room, library, offices and handicap accessible restrooms. To the existing building, renovation work included removal of non-handicap accessible restrooms, construction of a storage room and installation of a fire suppression system. Site work included rework of existing parking lots, landscape areas and irrigation systems. The community center houses many after school programs and activities for children such as Girl/Boy Scouts, youth sports, reading labs, and art classes. Programs are also available to empower the youth of the community such as Young Ladies of Excellence and Young Men of Distinction.
