General Construction

As General Contractor, the professionals at R L Burns Inc. will manage the construction of your project to ensure that each project is timely and efficient.

Our Project Managers will consult with the Owner and their architect to establish a clear scope of work for their project and ensure that every detail is defined, manage the subcontractor bid/RFP, RFI and ASI processes and legally protect the Owner with customized subcontractor documentation, supervise, manage, and control every aspect of the construction process.

Project Bidding, Estimating, and Fee Proposals

  • Formulate bids for pre-drawn plans
  • Prepare estimates and schedules
  • Negotiate project plan according to client requirements

Project Coordination

  • Establish and maintain close communication with the project team
  • Conduct progress meetings with the team

The Construction Manager

  • Review documents and drawings
  • Develop and administer contracts
  • Establish and maintain cost control procedures
  • Minimize/manage change orders
  • Initiate and complete project closeout process

Quality Control

  • Match superintendent’s experience with specific project to monitor progress
  • Ensure that project specifications and quality standards are met
